Who cares if the guy wrote a memoire or a story based on real events. Everyone lies and embellishes stories. I would have been more upset about the lie, as I was duped by his book too; however, as Opera SHAMED him on her show for an hour (and now the news shows her shaming him at every news brief) I started to emphasize with the guy. BACK OFF OPERA. Really, you've really outdone yourself on this one.BOO. I'm embarrassed FOR Opera now, and empathetic for the poor, embarrassed, ashamed, and now potentially ready to start back into taking drugs, alcohol, and he made a joke about hoping she had a gun backstage. ...Everyone fucking lies.

and her COMPUTER-ENHANCED features in her magazine.
...her biggest lie was being a hero to many of us, when she is so prideful and hurtful to people on National TV.
...as the Violent Femmes would say, "Kiss off into the air" to the Queen of the kingdom of housewives, couch potatoes, and regular folk--like me.
