And it can always get worse

Well, just when I thought it was safe to mutter about how it couldn't possibly get any worse.....I have shingles. YES, ladies and gents, a form of the old chickenpox virus--the old herpes zoster form--has stopped at my body's door and decided to vacation here on my face and back. It's painful and itchy. There should be a Morrissey song about this virus.
